Sunny Dental Clinic
Our priority is to deliver personalized, high quality dentistry for the entire family in a comfortable and relaxing environment. Our emphasis is on maintaining ideal oral health through prevention and education, and restoring and rebuilding healthy smiles with optimal function and esthetics.
Sunny Dental Clinic believes that informed patients are better prepared to make decisions regarding their health and well being. That is why, we’ve provided an extensive explanations covering the full array of topics associated with cosmetic dental procedures, root canal therapy, dental implants, teeth whitening, veneers, Invisalign and other dental services to our patients .
Here at Sunny Dental, we have implemented some new safety procedures to minimize cross-contamination and the spread of the novel COVID-19 virus. These include, but are not limited to:
mandatory face masks, plexiglass barriers, hand sanitizer, infrared forehead temperature monitoring, full PPE for staff and more. We have also increased our sanitation standards and are disinfecting all high touch surfaces after every patient. In addition, we have introduced new HEPA air purifiers and VAC systems to minimize aerosol spread. We ask all our patients to please practice social distancing in our office. We, at Sunny Dental, are working our hardest to provide the safest dental environment possible for all our patients and staff.
Here at Sunny Dental, we have implemented some new safety procedures to minimize cross-contamination and the spread of the novel COVID-19 virus.
Mandatory Face Masks
We ask all our patients to please wear a mask before entering our waiting area and up until the doctor is ready to see you in the chair. If you do not have a mask, please wave to our front desk receptionists and they will provide one for you. All our staff at Sunny Dental will be wearing masks at all times.
Hand Sanitizer
We ask all our patients to please use the hand sanitizer provided upon entry and before leaving our office. The contactless dispenser is located right next to our entrance door.
Social Distancing
We ask all our patients to practice social distancing when in our office. Certain waiting area chairs have been blocked off to ensure our patients practice social distancing. In addition, we ask that only one person approach our front desk at a time and maintain a distance of at least 2m away from other patients. We also ask our patients not to bring additional people with you to your appointment unless they are your parent/guardian to avoid over-crowding. If there are more than 2 patients in the waiting area, we will ask you to please wait outside the office until we invite you in. While it is difficult to social distance during actual dental procedures, we are limiting the number of people in each of the operatory rooms to 3 at a time.
Plexiglass Barrier
We have installed a full-length plexiglass barrier at the reception desk to mitigate the spread of aerosol between our receptionists and our patients.
Infrared Forehead Thermometer
We are doing diligent temperature checks to make sure all our patients and staff do not have a fever. We ask that if you have a temperature above 37.5°C to please stay home and reschedule your appointment for another time.
Sanitization and Sterilization
Everything in the office is continually disinfected and wiped or sprayed down using medical-grade CaviWipes and alcohol, especially high touch surfaces such as our door handles, counters, pens, thermometers, clipboards, POS machine, chairs, and more. As we have always done, all dental equipment is cleaned ultrasonically, packaged separately, and sterilized in an autoclave.
Full Personal Protective Equipment
Our dentist and dental assistants are equipped in full PPE, including but not limited to full-body suits, disposable gowns, hair masks, N95 masks, surgical masks, protective eyeglasses, plastic face shields, shoe covers, and gloves. This is to ensure that our staff are as protected and as safe as possible while treating our patients’ dental needs.
HEPA Air Purifiers
We have installed air purifiers with pharmaceutical-grade HEPA filtration in every operatory room to ensure the air quality is good and safe during dental procedures. The air purifiers remove contaminants in the air and trap aerosol.
VAC System
We have installed a new VAC system in our office to provide extra oral suction during dental procedures to minimize the spread of aerosol in the air.
